President's Day is a wonderful time to think about savings on your favorite stores. From discounts on your favorite home goods, to a free screening of an Oscar-worthy thriller, President's Day is the time to save. Here's our list with the top deals to take advantage of.

1. Free Screening of "Get Out"

Around 55 AMC Theaters across the country will be letting you see the Oscar-nominated thriller for FREE on Monday. It's first come, first serve, so whether you've seen it once, twice or never before, this is your chance to check it out. The screening is celebration of the film's first anniversary. For more information or to find a showing location near you, visit the official website here.

2. Target

Target is honoring our first president George Washington. They'll be offering you discounts of up to 30 percent off home goods  such as furniture, bedding, lighting and more. To claim your discount, all you have to do is use the discount code "GEORGE" at checkout.

3. Walmart

The giant retailer is taking a different approach on President's Day. Instead of offering deals on home goods, they'll be reducing prices on electronics. This includes a 55-inch Samsung 4K smart TV for just under $600 – which is a $400 cut from the original price. Walmart also has deals on tablets, headphones, and more.

4. Home Depot

If you're thinking of investing in your home on President's Day, then here's your chance. How about some brand-new appliances? Home Depot will bring down their prices on appliances up to 35 percent off. This includes deals on your favorite brands, such as Samsung, Hoover, and GE. But no need to rush, because these prices will stick around for the entire month.

President's Day never disappoints when it comes to giving your wallet a break. What better way to celebrate, besides honoring those who have led our country, than with some deals fit for the commander in chief.
