The stress of everyday life can weigh down on you, which is why it’s important to fuel your body with the right nutrients to help give you the energy to conquer any challenge. We met with Clinical Nutritionist, Christina D’amico, who showed us how to combine tasty greens with uplifting ingredients.

 

 

Post-Workout Salad 

  • Lettuce
  • Quinoa (carb)
  • Strawberries (vitamin c + simple carb to help restore glycogen levels)
  • Poppyseed dressings
  • Tuna (b12 + protein (also vegetarian friendly)
  • Feta 

 

 

Cold/Flu Recovery Recovery Salad 

  • Spinach (vitamin A, C, K, B9, iron, calcium. Antioxidants) 
  • Shredded carrots (beta carotene/vitamin A, fiber, vitamin k, antioxidants) 
  • Chickpeas (magnesium and vitamin B)
  • Peppers (vitamin A and C)
  • Oranges (vitamin C- boost immune system, antioxidants)
  • Shredded Chicken 

 

 

Bad Day Bounce Back Salad 

  • Butter lettuce
  • Bacon crumbles
  • Candied walnuts
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Hard-boiled eggs
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Cesar dressing
  • Tuna/Chicken/Turkey
