‘Star Wars’ Fan Receives Transplant Reveal From Dr. Chewbacca
The List ViraListChewbacca is one of the most popular "Star Wars" characters of all time, and now he's taking on his biggest role yet – delivering great news to a little boy in need.
This is exactly what happened at Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago, Illinois when Dr. Phillip Thrush dressed up like Chewbacca himself. He did so to tell 15-year-old Austin Eggleston, a huge Star Wars fan, that after four months of waiting, they'd found him a heart donor.
The heart-melting video captured Austin's precious reaction when he screams, "holly balls!" Needless to say, the internet fell head over heels for the video, with now more than 700 thousand views on Facebook and 200 thousand on Twitter.
Months ago when Austin was listed for a heart transplant, Dr. Thrush said he would deliver the news a heart was available dressed as Chewbacca. On Saturday, Chewbacca stopped by Austin’s room. #donatelife #organdonor #all4your1
