Fall TV season is something we’ve always looked forward to, for as long as we can remember. The 2022 premiers look absolutely fantastic – and we spoke to our friend, Jaqueline Coley, Editor at to get her picks for the best new shows on her radar. Spoiler alert: everything old is new again – new and fabulous.

First up – American Gigolo

If the name sounds familiar, this sexy thriller is based on a popular 80’s movie. “Jon Bernthal is incredible in just the glimpse we’ve seen from the trailer. You can expect a lot of sex, a lot of violence and a man on a mission to try to reclaim who he is,” says Jacqueline. Bernthal is sent to prison for a murder he didn’t commit – and Rosie O’Donnell is back on TV as the detective. Juicy! Check it out on Showtime.

Next – Quantum Leap

“A bit of a blast from the past… literally,” Coley teases. “We have Quantum Leap, the 1980s and nineties show that stars Scott Bakula is getting a reboot which premieres on Peacock.” It’s been 30 years since Doctor Sam Beckett stepped into the quantum leap accelerator and vanished. Now, a new team will restart the project, in the hopes of understanding the mysteries behind the machine and the man who created it. You can take a leap with this reboot on NBC or stream it on Peacock, on Monday September 19th.

Last – The Rookie: FEDS

“This time around rather than a later in life rookie police officer as played by Nathan Philly in The Rookie, we have a rookie late in life Federal officer played by Niecy Nash,” Coley says. At 48 years old, The Rookie achieves her dream of becoming an FBI Agent. The Rookie: FEDS premiers on ABC, Tuesday September 27th and can be streamed on Hulu.
