Tips for Mom: 3 simple rules to followLifestyle The List
Motherhood doesn't come with a manual, but it probably should. In the beginning the job is 24/7 with babies and toddlers demanding attention and just when you think you have it figured out, they grow up and the job changes. Kristina Guerrero is talking with author Daryn Kagan and journalist Mary Quigley to get three simple rules every mom should follow.
1. Lower Your Expectations
The transition is made difficult because Baby Boomers expect them to have reached certain markers by a particular time and the Millennials are on a different timeline. 2. Don’t Be a Fixer
You can’t just impart you wisdom onto them and they will skip all the lessons learned. They have to learn most of the good and bad things in life on their own. Just be there for them.
