Top 3 Airports Across America You Won’t Want to LeaveLifestyle The List
Most of us look at airports simply as means to get from one place to another, but you'd be surprised at what some of them have to offer. Stuff that's so cool you might want to make these three airports your final destination. Brian Corsetti has the top three across America worth traveling to.
1. Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport
The weather can be difficult to deal with in the winter, but if you have to be stuck somewhere, this is the place to be. Terminal one features a full on mall with 30 spots where you can eat, shop or relax. It even includes the opportunity to play a round of golf at PGA MSP. The 12-thousand square foot facility offers golf course simulators, a virtual driving range, a putting green and even PGA pros who give lessons.
2. Indianapolis International Airport
This cool airport has a wide-open circular mall with a variety of services from a barber shop and travel spas, to a store dedicated to all things Indy 500. If you're in the mood for a steak then Harry and Izzy's Steakhouse was named one of the top airport restaurants by USA Today.
3. Denver International Airport
This is an airport that's gone to the dogs… literally. You can cozy up to a certified therapy dog brought in by volunteers to help calm stressed out travelers. While you’re under those big white peaks that represent the snowcapped mountains of Colorado, you can play with light. There’s a wall that uses the kinetic energy to create a light show. Airport officials plan to put in more interactive installations to help add more fun to people's travels.
