Recently the hiring website Indeed released their list of the best cites for job seekers in the U.S. Using metrics like work-life balance, job security and advancement opportunities, they identified 25. Jared Cotter and Hire Story’s Theresa Maher are counting down the top three.

3.  Raleigh, North Carolina

Raleigh’s home to a lot of tech and scholarly institutions so it's pretty good fit for job seekers. They received a 100 percent on job market favorability, which basically means there's an extremely high demand for jobs from employers, which you a job seeker would supply.

2.  Orlando, Florida

Orlando also scored high marks for job market favorability, but they really shined in the job security and advancement opportunity category, with a score of 94 percent. It's a safe bet you'll be keeping your job and climbing the company ladder.

1.  Miami, Florida

It received a 100 percent score on work life balance, which we all want, as well as job security and advancement. Who wouldn't love to live in Miami? The weather's great, it has a ton of culture and the city it home to corporate titans like Carnival Cruise Lines and Lennar. It has high marks on all of Indeed’s metrics except salary percentile, which means you're dollar doesn't go as far.
