Donna Ruko and Jared Cotter are counting down the top three.
3. Indianapolis, Indiana
There’s more than just corn and hoops in the land of Hoosiers. There's also a good life. The median annual salary is almost $46,000 with just 25 percent spent on your home, leaving over 34k for things like the Indy 500.
2. Omaha, Nebraska
The average salary is almost $45,000 with housing expenses about 25 percent, leaving residents with roughly 34k left over for lots of Omaha steak dinners.
1. Des Moines, Iowa
People here are making over $47,000 a year and with just 23.8 percent spent on housing residents still have just around 36k to spend on events like the Iowa State Fair.
