If you're walking down the aisle this summer you probably can't wait for the honeymoon, but you don't have to jump on the plane right after the ceremony anymore. Kristina Guerrero and Jared Cotter have the top three untraditional “moon” trends of 2017 on today’s Buzz List.

3.  Earlymoon

Now people are having their dessert first. Pippa Middleton is just one of the celebs who took their honeymoon before the wedding. More and more couples are recharging before the chaos of the big day. You don't have to spend a lot of money. Try a nice hotel room near home.

2.  Buddymoon

What could be more romantic than taking your closest friends with you? Even Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux took their besties with them to the Four Seasons Hotel in Bora Bora. For some it's a way to spend more time with loved ones they don't normally see. For others it's an extension of a destination wedding.

1.  Babymoon

This one is all about getting away on vacation during the pregnancy. Olivia Wilde relaxed in Hawaii before second baby and Chrissy Teigen and John Legend reportedly went to morocco before baby Luna arrived.

Digital Detox Honeymoon

It’s time to unplug from the smart phones and tablets and give all of your attention to your new spouse. So, tweet that last tweet, press send on that final post, and give your all to your new life.  Try Casa de las Olas in Tulum, Mexico. Just south of Cancun, it’s totally eco-friendly and one hundred percent solar-powered. You actually have to check your electronics at the door. That includes hair dryers, electric shavers, curling irons –  all electronics. There are no televisions or phones in your room – and there’s no A/C. But you’ll be spending most of your time exploring the Mayan Ruins, private beaches, Cenotes, bright night life and relaxing spas.

Country Hopping

It's your honeymoon! Why choose just one spot? Couples are making the most of their post-nuptials by selecting a corner of the map where they can hit as many different experiences possible. For a Scandinavian sojourn, try the Northern Lights Tour in Norway, hop over to a bike tour of Old Town Stockholm, Sweden, and then continue on to check into a glass igloo in the wilderness of Finland. Or have a Southeast-Asian adventure in Thailand visiting Buddhist temples and the Elephant Nature Park,  then take a quick flight over to Laos and Myanmar for the Kuang Si Waterfalls and Ngapali Beach. Or maybe you’d like to stay closer to home and make it a cross country trip across America. Hey, this is once in a lifetime! Make it count with the one that matters the most!
