It’s time to forget about the coasts because on today’s Buzz List we have the best places to vacation in the middle of America. The website PureWow offered them up so Kristina Guerrero and Jared Cotter picked their favorites from the list.
3. Denver, Colorado
The Mile High City is known for its winter activities but even better than skiing the slopes are all the gorgeous places to hike and bike when the weathers nice and just 10 miles west is Red Rocks, a beautiful open air amphitheater where the biggest names in music perform regularly.
2. Canton, Ohio
Best known as the home to the Pro Football Hall Of Fame, it also features boozie attractions like wineries, breweries and distilleries. There are family friendly things to do as well, like the Beech Creek Botanical Garden & Nature Preserve which features hiking trails, educational stations and a butterfly house in the summer.
1. Isle Royale National Park, Michigan
Located in the middle of Lake Superior, this spot is known for its 165 miles of trails. That’s a lot to explore! You can also check out the whole collection of shipwrecks. Isle Royal is also known for its amazing scuba diving, along with canoeing and kayaking.
