Yes, it can snow in San Diego, in April! Two snow leopards at the San Diego Zoo were treated to a winter wonderland. Eight tons of snow was blown into their habitat. Three-year-old Penny entered the habitat cautiously, but then began to play and dig in the snow. 13-year-old Anna wasn't so excited about the snow.
Here are the three best moments from the video:
1. When She Digs Up Her Treat
2. When She Rolls Down the Hill
3. When She Jumps Around
The special snow enrichment was made possible by generous donors. If you would like to donate to the San Diego Zoo's enrichment program you can visit their website.
