What’s the deal with smart kitchen gadgets?TechList The List
You're getting smarter about what you eat and your kitchen's getting smarter, too. Jimmy Rhoades has three gadgets coming soon that talk to your phone to make your life a whole lot easier.
This is a wireless meat thermometer that pairs with an app on your phone. Just elect the kind of meat, insert the sensor and you can walk away from the oven or grill. You get a notification on your phone as soon as your meat has reached the correct internal temperature for your desired cook. You can preorder one for around $64.
2. Almond Cow
This gadget lets you make fresh almond milk at home so you can avoid all the additives found in store-bought brands. Just soak almonds overnight, add them to the Almond Cow and add a flavor if you want to mix it up. You can preorder one now for around $120.
When you add an ingredient, you speak to the app and tell it what you're adding. The pan starts measuring the weight, observes the time and temperature you cook that particular ingredient for, and creates a nutrition breakdown for the recipe you just created. Because calories are burned during the cooking process, this more accurate data can even inform your workout. You can preorder one now for around $229.
